Wedding flowers for Halstead and surrounding areas

Your Wedding Flowers Should Be as Brilliant, Unique and Beautiful as Your Love for Each Other

This is the belief that drives us here at Les Fleurs to create beautiful, bespoke wedding flowers.

Every Bride & Groom we work with leaves us the honour & privilege of creating the most important flowers of their life. The flowers they will never forget. The flowers that accompany beautiful memories. The flowers that spark joyful emotions.

So you know what to expect when entrusting us to create you wedding flowers we've added a loose guide below on the process from start to finish. Whilst we would hate to speak for other florists we all follow a similar pattern.

Your Personal Consultation

When you arrive for your appointment we close our little shop so we can openly talk without interruption. We have ample comfortable seating by way of our fitted bench. Sit back and relax whilst we discuss your ideas and dream wedding flowers. Throughout the consultation we will be taking notes that will help us form a detailed quote for you. If your having a large wedding and require a lot of flowers a great way to keep on top of what you need is to create a list prior to your appointment. This means we can focus on discussing the content, colours and themes of your wedding flowers. It's also a good idea to have a budget in mind as this can help determine flower selections.

Once we've concluded your consultation we begin working on your detailed quote. This is not just to give you a price on your flowers but its a play by play of what you want in what quantity. It will contain a short summary of each item including the flower content, ribbon choice and styles. The quote is an agreement between you and your florist, if you don't like something on your quote email us! We can always change and add things during this stage with ease. There's no shame in changing your mind on certain items and we encourage you to let us know if your not sure on things mentioned in your quote.

Like most florists we charge a fee for securing the date of your wedding and reserving the day of and day before for solely working on your flowers. We call our fee a securing deposit, this is because we take it off your total cost of your order as we don't believe in you paying for your consultation on top of your wedding.

Our securing deposits are tiered based on the size of your wedding order. A small wedding is £25, an average sized wedding is £50 and a large wedding order is £80 this is reflective of the time it takes to discuss these orders, produce a quote and how much time will be focussed on those orders near the big day.

After the Consultation

Once you've received your quote and made any changes or added extra items we will send you a Final Totals quote, we send these out around 3 weeks prior to the wedding day, they can be requested earlier if you're completely happy with your quote and don't require any further changes or additions. This will layout the cost of your wedding flowers as well as giving you a running list of what you've ordered in a simple format. It will also have our BACS payment details included.

You can pay for your wedding by BACS as mentions, by phone or by coming into our shop. We accept cash and card, your wedding must be completely paid for 12 days prior to your wedding date. This allows us time to reserve your chosen flowers, glassware and accessories.

We are available for any questions, queries or just pre-wedding nerves! Give us a call during opening hours or drop us an email anytime. It's our belief that keeping communication open up until your wedding will ensure your wedding flowers will be perfect.

The Big Day: Wedding Set Up

A lot will happen before your big day.

Like any florist we work closely with local venues. Communication with the venue will begin shortly after your quote. This is so we can find out the best vendor access for us on the day. Normally we are one of the final vendors to arrive, along with vendors like Make-up and hair artists. This is to ensure your flowers look their best but you still get to see your personal items, such as your bouquet, before you have to walk the aisle. We normally visit the bride accommodation first, then go on to the area with the largest amount of decoration (this could be the ceremony venue or the reception venue) where we will set up your arrangements with care and serious attention to detail. Once all the flowers are set up we will head to the grooms accommodation (if separate to the brides accommodation) to hand out the buttonholes and be on hand to help with pinning.

Once we've delivered and set up all the flowers we will pack up our tools and be out of your hair well before the wedding. Like all good vendors we're happy to dash off once we know the job is done to YOUR standards.

With the vows said, confetti thrown and champagne popped all that's left will be to congratulate you!

If you hired glassware from us, we will arrange with your venue somewhere for it to be left, if they don't offer this service and require you to be responsible for the pack down and clean up we can either pick up the glassware from you at the venue or you can drop it off to us once you've finished.

If you want to share your photos with us you can email to us with any testimonials, you can also use #FlowersByLFOH on instagram to show us your favourite moments!
